Elements is in the business of licensing production music
and commercial songs to media producers of all markets.
We license YOUR music on a non-exclusive
basis utilizing powerful web & traditional marketing
techniques (no spam), while you sit back and collect
the profits. Consider us your personal online music
consignment shop.
Note: We are not accepting any tracks that have been submitted to GoDigital Media Group or that have been listed on another music licensing service that has submitted their inventory to GoDigital, because of serious complications it might cause our clients on video sharing services like YouTube, etc.
We're looking for all types of production
music that you may have "sitting around," or
that you may wish to create specifically for posting
on Primary Elements. This
might include high-quality demo tracks that you've created
but that were not previously licensed or sold, older
licensed music that is now available for re-licensing,
original music produced for independent or personal productions
that is now cleared for licensing, or new material that
you create for a specific market or category in our library.
We're interested in all styles and formats,
but are most interested in instrumental music that's
suitable for Video, Film, Flash, TV, Radio, Corporate, Telephony
(music-on-hold), Advertising, Podcasting, Web, Interactive
and Game productions, etc. We're also interested
in band and solo artist material that
would be suitable in indie features and short films, television
shows or videos, etc. Vocal tracks with a quirky or unique
feel will likely have the most appeal, but we will consider
anything that sounds professional and usable.

Our service is totally FREE for artists
to join! You retain 100% of your copyright, publishing
and performance rights - We handle all of the marketing,
advertising & sales, and you get a 50% commission
on each licensing fee!
We don't "re-title" or "re-name" your tracks except when there's some legitimate naming issue, and only with your permission. We also don't re-publish your tracks to take any performance royalties "off the top." All royalties go to you (or your publishing company) when any broadcast, theatrical or film cue sheets are filed.
We pay our artists quarterly and there
is no minimum contract term or limitation on licensing
your material elsewhere (even
on other web licensing services) ... why should

All online license prices are fixed and
non-exclusive, but we can help negotiate special custom,
bulk, blanket, multi-market or exclusive licenses between
you and our clients, and you always have the final say!
Primary Elements was conceived and is
operated by seasoned composers & producers...
We know what you want - We're Pe Artists also with many
of our own tracks in the library.
Your professional-sounding material
must be submitted by mail on Audio CD's or Data CD-ROM's (Mac
or PC as uncompressed .AIF or .WAV files), or uploaded electronically using our Artist Media Upload Tool.
(Your physical media CAN be returned with prior arrangements
for a nominal return shipping & handling
fee.)
We'll let you know what we think and
if your material has potential on Pe (and which
tracks we would like to represent). If
you decide to join us, you can simply complete our online
Artist Agreement & Account Info form in our Pe Artist Services
site (including all the official legal info we need before
using your material and so we can pay you). We'll
then prepare and post your tracks ASAP!
The only requirement we have is that you must own the complete copyright
and publishing on your 100% original material (or have the proper authorization
to represent the material) ... bands, co-writers, and
indie labels are just fine providing one person is legally
responsible for the Pe Artist Account (and any commission
payments).

Performing Rights Organization Registration Required!
- Although we do recommend that you register your material
for future potential performance/broadcast royalties.
We'll pay you 4 times per year and when
our clients report their license usage (in the form of
cue sheets for any broadcast, film and theatrical performances using your tracks),
we'll send you the info so you can verify the reporting with
your Performing Rights Organization (if any, but
only if you choose to do so).
In addition to providing music licensing,
we also offer many audio/music/web and other related
media services to our clientele. As part of the Pe team,
you will be in the rotation for potential contract work
if you're interested, as we can't always provide the
requested services on our own.
